SO Sorry I haven’t published a blog post in a while, I’ve been super busy with school, work, and just the craziness of life. But, not to worry, I will be back writing regularly starting as soon as this is published!
Since I live in D.C. and don’t always travel as often as I’d like, I figured I would do a “Weekends in D.C.” series to share my experiences and the beauty of Washington, D.C. Although I’d rather be on a beach or mountain somewhere, I figured I would make use of my environment and try to expand my creativity by working in a place not too comfortable for me.
With this series of blog posts covering D.C., I hope to show you all fun things, food, and good photo spots around the city from now and thru summer. I’ll also be vlogging this series, along with a few other places I’ll be traveling to this summer, and these videos will be posted on Youtube. My channel name is linked at the end of this article. 🙂
This weekend was nothing special, we just wanted to take pics :D. So Jacia and I decided to head to Georgetown for the first time in months because it has literally been too cold to go anywhere, so when it got in the 50s we didn’t waste any time getting out of the house, haha. Except it is kinda scary D.C. got super warm in March.
I like Georgetown because the houses are so gorgeous and have the most beautiful plants and trees, and some really colorful “backgrounds” and cute secluded spots. If you ever are looking for a beautiful spot that isn’t crowded to take photos at in D.C., Georgetown is the spot.
After taking some pics, we had the besttttt Italian food at Flavio, which BTW is such a cute little restaurant. It’s super modern and classy, and again the food was loveeeee… I had pasta with spicy red sauce. 🙂
That’s all the footage we got today, short and simple 🙂 leave me a comment if you enjoyed the pics!
